ABRACADABRA - dEAd cat sTRat(egy) 2022 - Orange - Xarel-lo & Macabeau

Of German origin, with a childhood spent in the United States before living in England and then Amsterdam, Hannah Fuellenkemper traveled extensively before beginning her journey into the world of natural wine. This journey took her from the Loire to Banyuls, from Ardèche to Auvergne, where she finally settled and released her first wines between 2019 and 2020.

A winemaker of great talent, her production remains small and confidential, like this cuvée we are offering, limited to only 950 bottles. Made from 50% destemmed Xarel-Lo macerated with 50% whole-cluster Macabeu grapes for 7 days, it has just 10% alcohol but plenty of character. A winemaker to definitely watch.

Aurélien Lefort - Les Epines à Quoi Servent Elles 2022 - Red - Gamay

The cuvée that Aurélien vinifies each year with grapes from Beaujolais. Very lively and full of energy, this is a cuvée we recommend letting rest for another 1 or 2 years to temper its boldness and refine its acidity. Wild.

A pioneer of natural wines in Auvergne with the legendary Domaine Peyra in 1999, and later on his own with his 3.5-hectare estate spread across several parcels with diverse terroirs – ranging from basaltic soils to siliceous soils, as well as sandy and some clay-limestone plots – Pierre is an exceptional winemaker whose wines are renowned worldwide.
